Kennedy not quite the brawler he used to be

Watching Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee is pretty entertaining and it calls to mind the travesty that was The Robert Bork inquisition. This committee hasn’t descended to the last ring of Senatorial legal hell as did the one in the eighties, but that Kennedy fellow sure tried to reprise his role as Satan’s little gatekeeper. Too much fine food, too many years of inactivity, too much Scotch Whiskey and too few working or live brain cells….he just couldn’t pull it off. I mean anyone who would go toe to toe with RINO Arlen Specter, with Arlen coming out of the deal looking like Real Man a Real Legislator and more importantly a Real Republican. Kennedy out did himself on that one. I could spread my disgust with the dems pretty evenly, but not this time. This time I’m going to focus on the “Old Lion” of the Senate, Teddy Kennedy of that marvelous East coast litter of Joe and Rose. Teddy Kennedy is a disgrace. He is disgrace as a Senator. He is a disgrace as Patriarch ( and believe me that’s hard to achieve) He is a disgrace as a Catholic, he is quite simply a disgrace as a man in all respects. In his defense it should be noted that he came by some of it naturally. Watching big brothers Jack and Bobby womanizing and cheating, in full view of, and in some cases with the help of the press. It was a real hoot to watch all the icons of journalism wink and nod about how they all knew of the young Kennedy’s indiscretions and chose not to cover them. I’ll bet they wouldn’t have extended that courtesy to Barry Goldwater or Richard Nixon, of course they (Goldwater &Nixon) probably wouldn’t have behaved in that manner. The Kennedy’s association of convenience with La Cosa Nostra could fill a volume. You kids thought that the democrats just started trying to steal elections in 2000. Nope, they effectively with mob help stole the 1960 Presidential election. When pressed to take action against the democrats, Richard Millhouse Nixon wouldn’t do it, he stepped aside caring more about his country than his political career.Consider his later antics with that in mind. Back to Teddy, I don’t know what the statute of limitations is for a Wrongfull Death case. But I believe that Mary Jo Kapechne’s death should be brought up every time this drunken lout oozes himself in front of a camera. That is one albatross he should never be allowed to remove or runaway from, till his dying day.

My first question to Letterman is just why the hell you asked O’Reilly on the show. The only thing Letterman proved were one, he never had the class to fill Johnny Carson’s shoes, which is clear every night up against the Tonight Show. Trying to be cool as far as pop culture goes and having grace and being a class act are two distinctly different animals Dave, and you sure proved that. I don’t like O’Reilly, but Dave you ain’t big enough to shine his shoes. That had to be one of the best “Hey, look at me! I’m really stupid” moments on broadcast television.

     I was just reading in the News Telegraph that things aren’t so pleasant across the pond. It seems the Home Office reports that ARMED violent crime is on the rise, and has been for some time now. I believe the Home Office is the United Kingdom’s equivalent to our Justice Department. Rather curious that firearms should still be a problem for you chaps in merry olde England, being as how you fellows had made it illegal to own them. And that was some time ago, wasn’t it?  Yes, I believe I’m right old man, no one can own them legally. Hmm, seems some folks just don’t seem to be obeying that law, odd don’t you think!
     Well those folks who don’t obey the law are what we here in Texas commonly refer to as “CRIMINALS”. And as just about anyone with an above room temperature I.Q. can and did tell you M.P.’s in the U.K., they won’t be turning in their guns, or obeying your new laws.
     And then the government of the Empire where the sun never sets     ( at least at one time, long ago) makes it illegal to defend ones self from these armed thugs. You know it wasn’t that long ago we, Americans were sending not only military men and materiel to the U.K., but also tons of common firearms. And after that long hard fought war was over, what did ya’ll do ? Went about the business of gettin’ rid of those pesky firearms that helped keep your’e arses from goosesteppin with Adolph. And then, what did ya do, you got rid of the one individual in your country most responsible for the fact you even survived the damn war in the first place !
     You guys should have just stuck with that chap Neville Chamberlain, because the way things look today, you are headed in the same direction! Winston Churchill certainly had his faults, but he had a pair the current bunch couldn’t carry in a wheelbarrow. No joke, what has become of England ? Good Grief

     Americans might just do themselves a favor, by  paying a little more attention to what our European cousins have to deal with and what's the cause of the problem. This oh so egalitarian code of ethics that's known as political correctness, moral relativism, moral equivalence is not the big problem, but it's the enabler. For the last thirty-five to forty years Europe has been inundated with immigrants, mostly from their former colonies, and mostly Muslim. I guess guilt was the mother of political correctness. In trying to figure how this mess all got started the only sane conclusion is imperial guilt. Anyhow, the politically correct chickens have come home to roost. Afraid to offend their former subjects, countries all over Europe are bending over backwards to show their guest that they really, really, care for them. And now they're reaping the whirlwind. By pandering to the lowest common denominator, Europe as a whole and the former empire nations in particular are on the brink of disappearing. Yes that's right, even without the help of Islamic Fascist, they're pretty much doomed. Having not met the replacement birth rate for almost seventy years combined with the millions and millions lost to two world wars, ethnic Europeans- Germans, French take your pick, will be gone from the world. And way before this century is over, too. And those riots in France weren’t even the beginning of their Muslim, Islamic or Mohammedan problems.
     You have probably heard about the riots in Sydney, Australia. At first it was portrayed as raucous violent white Aussie beach bums beating up some poor muslim for no good reason. Wrong. Apparently a vacationing Pakistani, being tried for rape is the catalyst. It seems now that even our stalwart cousins in Australia have let the P.C. bug get the best of them, also. Local police have pretty much abdicated rule of law, to a powerful, violent Islamic gang from Lebanon. And this rape thing , hey you lefties blowing that P.C. multi-cultural horn out there… well you might as well just serve up your Mom’s, wives’ and daughters first. You know, just to prove your sincerity, at least as to all things being equal and such! Because if the females in your house ain’t goin’ out with their burka’s on, then, well as far as the Muhamedmen  are concerned they just have to be raped. And not just by one of these Muhamedmen, oh no no no they have to be gang raped! And when it is all said and done, she damn well better be remorseful for her misdeeds or things get worse. I just can’t wait to see, when all this finally becomes obvious, how  the feminist and other lefties are going to approach this one. These cats are claiming the right to rape, hey it’s a cultural thing.  And abortion rights, don’t worry these guys will gut you like a fish, just for practice.
     These things are going on all over the globe. You thought the only thing concerning Muslim violence in Europe was the gruesome murder of Dutch film maker Mr. van Gogh, nope wrong again. The Muhamedan Gang Rape Club is in the Netherlands, Sweden, wherever there’s a large Musslim population …. Get the point yet?  This is allowable by their faith, and many, many more things that are far worse. If you believe there is a moral equivalence between Islam, Judaism and Christianity, if you believe Islam is a religion of peace you are Hopeless! More on this later

A new begining

Christmas Eve, today we seem to be at a crossroads not only here in the United States but around the globe. Violence and riots are visiting the civilizations of the West. The violence that is seeking us , calling us out, here in the U.S. , in Europe, England and Australia and elsewhere around the globe has only one thing binding it to us. And that thing is hatred. Hatred that we will not give up our common heritage, belief's and most importantly religion. That hatred has a name Islam, meaning to surrender. We have let our civilizations be subject to this violence by bowing at the alter of new religion, a new theory of being. This new theory or religion will destroy us if we allow it to continue. This new theory is being taught here and elsewhere as moral relevance and or moral equivalence. At it's very core is that there is no right or wrong, and that truth is an abstract, subject to the whims and judgements of each individual. And with this basis then all things believed by men of different cultures or religions become equal or morally equivalent. For us, Western civilization that is, to throw off everything learned in the last few thousand years as just mythology and to believe that all belief's and cultures are morally the same is simply to commit suicide. With Islam on the rise and on the march, this is especially so! More on this later.

Arlene Getz reports in Newsweek that the wire tapping of suspected Al Qaeda members is on par with the racist regime of P.W. Botha in South Africa. She also trots out that simple minded little African Archbishop Desmond Tutu. And yes I mean simple minded. And anyone else who believe's that political drivel he so carelessly spews from that Marxist piehole of his. If the editors over there can't read, and surely that must be the case, then they need to find someone who can. Just the fact that they printed that unprofessional grandstanding B.S. , hey look at me I'm trying to bring down the Administration claptrap, negates the very point she so stupidly is trying make. I hope bankruptcy is in their future. And the New York Times, too! Good grief

George Clooney as intellectual spokesman, yea right

There was a time when I really liked George Clooney, he's a good actor and I used to like his products. He's been blessed with looks and talent. And in my opinion he should stick with entertainment. Here is a man trying to convince people that modern liberal ideology is synomous with patriotism. It is not. With Pelosi, Boxer, John Kerry and pretty much all of the LIBERAL DEMOCRAT LEADERSHIP calling for the President of the United States to be impeached for trying to protect American citizens is not patriotic. What it is, is SUBVERSIVE behavior. And this kind of behavior during wartime is inexcusable folks. There is plenty of LEGAL precedent for the President's action concerning the wire taps. And as for that clown Clooney, the man has no knowledge of history. And I'd like to think that he's just not aware of what is going on around the globe. Because if he really does understand what is going on, and he wants to throw his lot in with the likes of the democrat leadership. Well, maybe he should stop worrying about trying to revitalize liberal ideology, and learn just what the words Patriot, Subversive and Treason mean. And the difference between them. Oh, good grief !!!!

Impeachment ?

Having just finished writing my Congressman about matters in Mexico, I read on David Horowitz Front Page that the dem's are bold enough to seek impeachment of President Bush over this wiretap news. You know one of the tools in our democratic fix-it box is impeachment, and if the dem's feel so cavalier about using it in this instance, then let's all play along. Consevatives for far too long now have let Federal judges with lifetime appointments run wild without even a suggestion of impeachment. And just think! we can start off with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. It's about time we had a Constitutional showdown. Lets start a movement. The dem's last hope for power was through the courts, so lets hit them where they live. I would be willing to bet that with close enough scrutiny, we'll be able to find multiple circumstances for impeaching federal judges all over the country. Sounds like a capitol idea whose time has come.

Mexico, yet again!

Folks I hate to repeat myself, but we really need to make changes in how we handle our neighbor to the South. Vicente Fox is now demanding that we do nothing to secure our border with Mexico. He is not just talking about a border fence either. He does'nt want us to reinforce with manpower, wether it be extra borderpatrol, military or civilian. He demands an open border, and he's calling on all illegals already here to protest that their human rights are being violated. He is hoping to raise enough hell that the international community (our enemies) will bring pressure on us. You had better make your view's known and known now. Write your representatives A.S.A.P. I hate to say I told you so, but.. About thirty years ago friends and I would joke about annexing Mexico, making it the fifty-first state. Well it looks as though Mexico's going to exert itself as a hostile neighbor once again. As I've written before, Mexico is not now nor has it ever been our ally. I was reading earlier today in World Net Daily about Border Patrol Agents having skirmishes with Federale troops. I believe our Border Patrolmen should immediately be tasked with giving said Federales one opportunty to be peacefully arrested. And if they resist, SHOOT them. They're just being on our soil in that manner is an act of war. End of subject.

My wife has chastised me for being a little too harsh concerning my last post, and possibly she's right. I get angry though when I think of how that movement has co-opted our common language, politicised a sexually spread disease,especially when there are many, many more illnesses that deserve the attention,not to mention the funding and research. And their incessant push to destroy tradition, not just here but around the world. And as everyone knows they could have stopped the spread of aids simply by abstinence. If you knew that by voluntarily behaving in a certain manner, that the odds of continuing that behavior would lead to a hideous death, dontcha think that just maybe you'd stop behaving that way! As far as I can tell from the press releases these two obviously selfish homosexuals have a lustfilled tryst in a cabin on a cold winter night. I say selfish for a number of reason's, but most important is the fact that these two queer caballero's part ways after their unatural night together. They go on and find girls, get married and have families. Ah, but years later they're reunited and take after each other again! Forget all those corny things you've ever heard 'bout cowboys and codes of honor and doin' the right thing! And forget the heartbreak and embarassment this would bring to the women they made vows to. And the innocent kids, these foul creatures helped produce, hey screw 'em, nothing is more important than that unatural lust these two hideous, horny creatures feel for each other! The only thing good about all of this will be watching it fail, the movie that is.

Barrett Report- Release it NOW !

The end product of Independent Counsel David Barrett's investigation has been completed and ready for release since August of 2004. This investigation reportedly reveals serious corruption in the Internal Revenue Service and Justice Department. And probably much more corruption will be known about the Clinton Administration when the report finally becomes public. One of the key factors in delaying the release has been Clinton's pitbull David Kendall, filing motion after motion, thus ensuring it doesn't see the light of day. Folks write your representatives and tell them you want this matter brought to the public, unredacted and without censor. Good grief

The trouble with Mexico is Mexico

Having lived down here on the border, pretty much all my life and being a student and observer of history, I have learned a few things. First let me state that I love Mexico, it's a beautiful country inhabited by good, but very poor people for the most part. And since I haven't been to Europe since I was a child, it's the only foreign country I can speak of with some true authority.

I have travelled through a lot of Mexico, and done so by car all but once, when I flew in to Monterrey for a vacation. I have worked in Mexico and I currently live forty-five minutes from the border. All of this as my bona fides. The country of Mexico is probably the most corrupt, from top to bottom, country in our hemisphere and I would wager it could probably qualify for the top twenty most corrupt countries in the world. From Mayor's to streetcops to Federales on straight to El Presidente. Bribery or mordida is a way of life down there. And not just in little localized areas either, it's institutionalized. And Mexico has never been our ally, either. During both World Wars, they were much closer to Germany than us. And this border problem that the rest of you have all of the sudden discovered, we here on the border have seen all our lives. It's really no worse now, than it's ever been. The only difference now is the OTM's coming accross. What are OTM's you say? Well, that's the official acronym for Other Than Mexican. And that can include just about any country, but the ones that the rest of you are worried about, and so are we here on the border are the Middle Eastern guys and gals skipping across our undefended border. It is probably to late to do anything about it now, because there is no telling how many have successfully crossed and set up cells or already joined with existing sleeper cells. We know this because we've got a couple of them in jail here in Texas. Most of Mexico is owned and or controlled by a very few families. That is a fact most old timers know down here. And there's a running joke that the first place an unseated President goes is to Switzerland to deposit his new found wealth. Mexico, great place, great folks just watch your Back!

Death of a child

A very close family to mine is about to suffer one the most horrible tragedies I can imagine, the loss of a child. And this has not been a brief journey for this loving family. You see Kelsey, their thirteen year old daughter is about to lose, what can only be described as an heroic battle , she's about to lose her life to cystic fibrosis. If you're not familiar with CF, it is truly one of the most horrible afflictions known. And as far as I know, it only visits upon the children in our midst. Imagine living a life, that from the time your're old enough to know things, you know that you are doomed. And to know the machinations and course of that doom, of your own demise...at such a tender age. Well, Kelsey knew all of this, and yet she was a becon of hope and joy for anyone around her. And to know her is truly a blessing from God. I mean that, too, not just rhetorically. God sends his messages in myriad ways, as is his prerogative. At this juncture of my life, my duties have expanded, that is to say they're more than just my wife and children job and so forth you know, the normal stuff. And I was starting to feel rather over burdoned until I heard about Kelsey. My load is nothing and I know it.

Memory

I was just reading a blurb in the Federalist Patriot about global warming, whether to worry 'bout melting polar ice caps or brace for the on coming ice age. It brought to mind just how short public memory is. In particular I'm thinking of the fellow who led the populace ( those who are prone to believe w/o question the words from those educated far beyond their own intelligence ) to believe we were all going to succumb to a global ice age. This was of course before the cottage industry of global warming. There's literally no end to the money one can make scarring the hell out of people, and in some cases that's a good thing.

And how many people believed in Silent Spring. This book is indirectly responsible for the death of millions of people from mosquito borne diseases. Why is that you say? It led to outlawing the use of DDT, a hugely successful pesticide. Which since has been proven to be harmless to humans, used appropriately.

I also remember when the homosexual as special rights group got a good foothold on the public in this country. But back then they, and by they I mean their public leadership, were making very different statements as to the foundation of their peculiar sexual proclivities. Then they said homosexuality was their free choice, and as Americans their choice should be respected, or at least tolerated as long as it didn't interfere with the rights of others. Gee, haven't we come a long way since then. Now they have convinced a lot of people that their sexual proclivities are simply a matter of geneology ! Again, with the above mentioned folks who believe anything that spews from the piehole of the overeducated. Of course this magic unatural gene has yet to be found. But that doesn't stop them from exerting their claims as fact, and the gullible non thinkers from believing it. All of these matters are in the public record. Good grief

Police No Knock Policy shouldn't be

I have never been a fan of no knock, or a lot of other law enforcement drug policies that have come into use and legal codes the last couple of decades. There is simply no way to justify the use of many of these policies. Certainly not in the United States of America.

I have to admit it! I've got this thing for Ann Coulter, the good looking leggy blonde just bowls me over everytime she K.O.'s some smartarsed intellectual wannabe, and she gets it from the left and the right. With the intellectual format from the left being "just shout louder" Ann's not afraid to stand toe to toe with anyone, screamer or not. She even smacks ol' Bill O'Reilly around. As far as punditry goes I believe Ann has no equal, except maybe the semi-retired William F. Buckley, my personal guru. Are the girls taking over?... Looks like it, and with Ann on my side it makes no difference to me. Right now my favorites are Ann and Peggy Noonan and we're lucky to have them on our side.

The latest flap over the President's choice of Christmas cards has got to be the silliest I've seen yet. Yes, I am a conservative. And no, I wouldn't send out cards for Christmas that only said Happy Holiday's. I don't think the President is trying to appease or placate atheist, budist or any other non- Christian groups out there. And I'd be willing to bet the next batch the President sends out do say Merry Christmas. To my fellow conservatives, choose better battles to be in. Good grief. P.S. With Howard Dean this week simotaneously predicting defeat, calling for immediate withdrawl of the troops, then transplanting them somewhere friendly where they can really fight Zaraqawi or whatever the hell his name is one has to wonder just what the good Doctor is prescribing to himself. Yes, that's right the man is a medical Doctor, in case you forgot. As far as I'm concerned he should keep taking whatever it is he's taking. He makes Bevis and Butthead look like Einstein and Oppenheimer. Have you noticed all those people with sacks over their head, my guess is they're the democratic leadership. And would someone please find out where Mr. Dean went to medical school, but there's probably a big sack over that place too! I wouldn't blame them either. Would you ?

I was just reading an article on the Claremont Institute website about a police women in England who was shot and killed by thugs in November. The head of what I guess is their police union, said arming the police wouldn't change things, as the criminals would still have guns. Anyway click the title of this post and link the story. State of the Union

This great Nation is simmering and if things keep rolling along as they have been I believe the pot might just boil over sometime in the future. The democrats , if they persist in following the path they have chosen are going to literally tear this country apart. And if that is their goal , they're getting awfully close to success. Let's start with the war in Iraq. To begin with I was against the war , but as soon as boots were on the ground and our young men and women were commited to combat , I shut up. I shut up, not because I reversed my position or my belief. I shut up because it was the right thing to do. I did so because as a conscientious American ( not a hyphenated American, though being born in Germany) I will never utter one word that might be construed in such a way that might bring harm to our servicemen and women. Now if I know not to do something that would bring harm to them, then what excuse can elected officials who stand on the floor of the House of Representatives have. Let's forget for now what Nancy Pelosi has said. Let's start with the one they trotted out and hid behind, Congressman Jack Murtha. Yes , Mr, Murtha served in Viet Nam. Yes, Mr. Murtha was wounded and received the Purple Heart. So what, that does'nt make one damn little bit of difference in this matter. Honorable deeds done in the past, are just that. Something that one participated in or did a long time ago. Certainly this is not to say he shouldn't be remembered or honored for those deeds, he should be. But calling for a pullout in the middle of war, a war that by any objective standards we are winning. Yes, I said winning, is absolutely one of the worst actions that I have ever seen taken by a United States federal elected official. That is until this same man, Congressman Jack Murtha comes out and says that the military is broken. With United States Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen currently in combat one of their own Congressmen, comes out and tells the world our military is broken. Now lets throw in all the shameful, no strike that, disgraceful things said and done by various other Leaders in the democrats party. Lets stop all this now. There was no doubt in nineteen ninety-eight and nine, that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Both parties agreed and did so publically. So did most of the civilized governments around the world. There was no doubt in two thousand-three about weapons of mass destruction, either. Again, leaders in both parties knew this along with the rest of the world. Forget the United Nations opinion. Anyone, at least anyone with an I.Q above room temperature knows now the U.N. is finished. The organization has zero credibility. Most of us have realized this for years. Let them go hand out and distribute food and medical supplies, and this should only be allowed with adult supervision. I don't want them on the continent, much less in our country. And forget Vanity Fare covergirl Plame and that goofy husband hanging on her skirt. Those two clowns remind me of Maxwell Smart and Agent 99 or one Jethro Bodine's double naught spies, for you youngsters, refer to TV Land. Back to the democrats ( Nationally elected ones) what they are doing has gone way past politics, with their fellow travellers in main stream old media they are dancing with the devil. And many are skirting and flirting with TREASON, and I don't believe we should be skittish about it. If this were reality or say 1944 around early June and these same antics were going on same said people would be run out of the country or tied to a post, given a cigarette and asked if they had any last words to say. Different World continued

Things are changining so rapidly now that the world seems to be spinning off it's axis. The laptop I'm typing on has more processing power than the first spacecraft that I watched land on the moon, thirty odd years ago. Television, there are now hundreds of channels to choose from, yet most folks I know rarely watch more than two or three. And generally the same two or three. Courtesy , civility and just good manners seem to be concepts that are long gone. Half of this Great Nation is in diametrical opposition with the other half. Schools are no longer teaching history. Kids, even college kids can't place World War Two in the right century, let alone right decade. I have to wonder just what does this portend for us as a Nation ?

Different World

This is such a different world than the one I grew up in. In some ways that's a very good thing. Agriculture and medical advances have been such that in the not to distant future , I would not be surprised that the average life expectancy would reach one hundred years. That's really some achievment if you think about it. Right now I believe life expectancy is at the mid to late seventies, when my parents were born, in the early nineteen twenties they could expect to live to their fifties. Of course the early twentieth century saw more technological advancement and social change than any other period of history. Just think how little and how slow the march of progress was from the time of Christ to the late nineteenth century. Then , BOOM you have cars , airplanes, skyscrapers medical and technological advances happening so fast people can't keep track. I think about that period and I've got to wonder what it must have been like to be say , forty-five or fifty years old. My Grandfather was born in eighteen eighty four , his Father in eighteen fifty nine. Living in rural West Texas neither of those men could have even dreamed what the future had in store for them. They were still horseback till nearly nineteen twenty. My Grandfather lived till nineteen fifty four , his Father preceding him in death in fourty four. My Dad was born in nineteen twenty two , already in the army when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor ( he was a Sargent then ) he went on to be an officer in the Strategic Air Comand. Horseback to the moon , wow what a ride that musta been. My Dad's Grandfather born before the Civil War , and mine born during the time Geronimo was still tear assin' round the Southwest. And even though I was only eleven, I and my family were able to witness a man step on the moon , and..and listen to him talk to us while he was doing it ! More later

Well I finally chanced upon one site, not only does it provide better tuttelage, it's also free and likes interaction with you. The site is Performancing.com and it really was a gold mine of information. And not it's not filled with fluff and B.S. just good solid knowledge.

Just finished watching the debate on Hannity & Colmes between Ollie North , and former Representative Bob Edgar , who by the way is an ordained Minister of some sort , not that theres anything wrong with that , but I think if your going on a national television show and your trying to convey to the audience...Ah hell I can't go on like this. The man made a fool of himself. I think at this stage of things , and it seems to be happening around the world , civil discourse about matters of grave importance just seem to fall off the tracks of sanity . So called progressives ( liberals ) when confronted by facts and truth , no longer try to argue back with ideas that have weight and merit. No , when confronted with an argument and you know your'e on the wrong side , simply keep saying that isn't true . When confronted with all the accomplishments that our fine , brave troops have made in that ass backwards , stone age hell hole known as Iraq , what did Parson Edgar say... huh , yeah thats right . He said it just wasn't true. I don't know if thats a sin of commission or ommission , but it's a real sad state of affairs , and man it pisses me off !

Does Past Military Service Make One Untouchable

Having been around the military , and military folks all my life.... I really have to wonder about how some politicos on the left come to their viewpoints . Honorable feats done in one's youth , are... just that , something that you did or participated in a long time ago . Certainly this is not to suggest that you should not be remembered , and honored for those feats . But they don't make you omniscient and they certainly don't make your opinions infallable . If you have'nt caught on yet , I'm talking about this current verbal war since the democrats trotted Rep. John Murtha out on the house floor to call for the immediate withdrawl of our Troops from Iraq . They ( the dems ) act as though this man is beyound reproach . You can't question him , my gosh ! He's been wounded in battle . Does'nt quite sound right , does it . I did not agree at the beggining , with the war. But to pull out now , would be a disaster in every conceiveable manner.

Government Control of Internet

Sorry I have'nt been around the last few days , I started this thing to get to get my thoughts out. I've been very busy learning how all this works. And the truth is , Blogs consume a bit more time than I anticipated. I am rearranging my time so that I can devote more to this site. I'm sure once I get beyond the starting gate , things will run a bit smoother , I hope ! I keep hearing bits and pieces of news , about governmental control of the internet . God help us all . Wheather it be control from the U.S. gov't. or the United Nations , get active write your lawmakers and tell them hands off ! The internet is pure enterprise , liberty at work . Sure there are some warts. There will always be a bad side to things , but regulation be damned , just ignore the bad and let free enterprise go at it's own pace. It will do just fine without Uncle Sugar.

San Francisco Gun Ban is it a good idea

Just heard about the draconion gun ban in Frisco, I have to wonder if the city fathers, or rather leaders have thought this thing through. Given the unusual sexual, should we say proclivities of what may just be the majority of the citizenry of that beautiful city. Do they really want to turn over sole responsibilty for their protection to city and county police. It seems every week we hear the cry of police brutality from somewhere in California. In a police state, I wonder if that cry would be louder, or heard at all. Just wondering....

Veterans Day

Today we honor our veterans, past and present. As a nation we can never forget what these fine, brave souls have done for us. I thank God that we still have a country that produces such fine youngsters, and has produced them for the last two hundred and thirty some years. To all of our veterans, the young ones now serving, and the not so young ones whose youth was spent fighting for our freedom, and for those that have gone on to their eternal reward, may the Good Lord bless and keep you.
